Mr Tony Chung has extensive experience in the education area of teaching hospitality management, programme administration & development, programme accreditation, validation and quality assurance. Before joining the education field, Mr Tony Chung has over 16 years’ experience in the hotel industry and has been working at the managerial level in the area of hotel operations, sales and marketing, revenue management and rooms division management more than 10 years.

Before joining Modern Continuing Education Centre , Mr. Yip had been working in hotel industry for 27 years. His last position held was Resident Manager of Regal Riverside Hotel. Mr. Yip’s extensive networking with hotel industry enables him not only the delivery of the course with latest trend and updated knowledge, but also good arrangement for students to join the industry.

Before joining Modern Continuing Education Centre in 2014 as a Programme Leader, Ms. Kwok has held teaching and lecturing positions in various local and overseas universities for over ten years. The level she taught range from Diploma to Master degree and teaching subjects focus on accounting and finance, statistics and other business-related courses. She has supervised business programs and has involved in Quality Assurance initiative of those business programs for over 5 years.
Before switching her career to the academic sector, Ms. Kwok has held senior positions in commercial sector with the last position as the Senior Manager in a local construction company where her job duties focused on project management, management accounting and various finance functions.
Finally, Ms. Kwok also has extensive corporate training experiences in Hong Kong, China and overseas and has acted as a facilitator in Total Quality Management (TQM) training activities.

Before joining Modern Continuing Education Centre in 2013, Mr. Tang was a Rooms Division Manager in Regal Hotel International – Regal Oriental Hotel. More than 19 solid years of hotel experience has helped him to develop an excellent communication skills and confidence in serving guests from different backgrounds and countries. Built strong customer relations skills whilst working in the hotels and, at the same time, he gained many valuable skills in leadership and job organization

Before joining Modern Continuing Education Centre in 2014, Herman Li had been working as an Executive Housekeeper in Traders Hotel managed by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited for 4 years. He also served various renowned chain hotels in the field since 80’s. He possessed solid understanding of Housekeeping operations. Good skills in hotel pre opening set up, leading teams, growing and coaching staff members.

Emily started her professional development in hotel and catering industry since a young adult, including the sectors of private restaurants and bar, food production, front office operations, human resources, training and development. With more than twenty years of industrial experiences, she started committing in the education sector since 2013 by a chance while her inspiration has been always wishing to develop and nurture the new generations for becoming professionals in the hospitality and tourism industry. As a certified hospitality educator; her teaching experience includes the subjects of hotel operations, leadership, business strategy, and tourism studies.
